What Makes a Good Non-Profit Board Member?

Organizations want leaders like you on their boards, but how do you pick the right fit?

At this workshop, we will discuss ways to be a good board member and equip you with the tools and techniques to be effective in your role. Learn how to align your passions and expertise with the right boards and take this opportunity to connect with local nonprofits that need your help.

The workshop will consist of two 90-minute sessions:

Session One: How to be a good board member
Are you cut out to be a board member? Learn what it takes, what you need, and how you will benefit.

Session Two: Nonprofit connections
Explore local nonprofits and connect right in the room. Nonprofit categories include: arts, education, health & human services, and community service.

Date: June 12
Time: 3:00 - 6:00 PM
Location: 1818 Club
Free for members
$10 for nonmembers
